Gemstone Engagement Rings

A diamond may be the most popular choice for the center stone of an engagement ring but it's not your only choice, as England's royal family has reminded us once again. Prince Charles was said to have paid 30,000 pounds for the sapphire ring he proposed with back in 1981.

In recent years sapphires of all colors, emeralds, rubies, and more recently tanzanites have been requested in greater quantities for engagement rings. At Mark Broumand we can customize any of our rings with a sapphire, emerald or any gemstone of you prefer.

Below is one of our staff's favorite gemstone engagement rings to custom order to your exact specifications.

This one of a kind piece was specially handcrafted to showcase this phenomenally rare and beautiful 3.31ct Kashmir Sapphire. This remarkable stone has a great history and was actually used by GIA to teach their graduates about these magnificent stones! It is a very special Sapphire and as such we had to create a magnificently beautiful setting to showcase it perfectly. The setting features a halo of Round Diamonds set around the center in a pave setting with two large Pear Shape Diamonds bezel set on its sides. The shank is pave set on all three sides with gorgeous Round Diamonds. The center basket has a very unique and beautiful design, set with Round Diamonds as well. We completed the piece with hand-etched milgrain detail throughout. It is a masterpiece!

This piece has sold but can be custom ordered. Price available upon request but it's not your only choice as England's royal family has reminded us once again. Prince Charles was said to have paid 30,000 pounds for the ring back in 1981.
